Why do you listen to WLIX?

Started listening to WLIX after I met Pastor Rich through a mutual friend. It was at the Holding Out Hope tent revival a couple of summers ago.

I would run through radio stations and alot of the time, i would stop on WLIX ( although i didnt know it) and the music would surround me and put me at ease. I always would love what i was hearing...now i just leave it on...obviously i was meant to listen :)

listened to the original wlix (on 540 am) for about 4 years before they went out of business...really sad night for me back then (approx 15 years ago)...still recall the last song they played at Midnight...it was God is in Control by Twila Paris (appropriately). Back then, the only other station was WFME - Family Radio, which has not always been within my doctrine or musical tastes. I was hoping and praying for years that WLIX would come back, I even dared to pray it would be FM (lol). I even considered trying to start a station and was informally looking for backers and looking into how to get FCC licenses. Then, one day I was flipping thru the dial and caught Pastor Rich...I think it was around Easter time and I think the station had only been on for a few weeks. Been enjoying it ever since.
